"Two of the most important people in our lives have been grieving deeply lately — we all have. Back in March, Sarah and Nat lost their sweet Baby Nicolas at 17 weeks. Through their insurmountable pain, they’ve been focused on meaningful, positive ways to give back. 

 

In the Nick of Time was created for families mourning the loss of a child. It’s a service that provides warm, home-cooked meals for those returning from hospitals and NICUs with shattered hearts and empty arms. It’s a lasagna tray for the older siblings, the grandparents, the caregivers — the ones pouring into the grieving parents while forgetting to care for themselves.

 

Above all, it’s a reminder that these families are not walking alone in their grief. It’s also a testament to Sarah and Nat’s steadfastness in bringing healing and grace in Nicolas’ name.
